The British team for the inagural Longines League of Nations in Abu Dhabi, UAE has been been selected to represent Great Britain. The competition takes place between the 9 – 11th February 2024 at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort.
Skye Higgin, who is based in France, with the 11-year-old bay mare Djordania Du Tillard, owned by Bernadette Lejeune.
Joe Stockdale from Roade, Northampton, with either the 13-year-old bay mare Equine America Cacharel, jointly owned by Joy Cocklin and Laura Stockdale, or the 10-year-old chestnut stallion Ebanking, jointly owned by Barbara Hester and Laura Stockdale.
Donald Whitaker from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with either the 13-year-old bay stallion Di Caprio, or the 11-year-old grey mare Millfield Colette, both jointly owned by Reitsportanlage Dagobertshausen GmbH & CO.KG and Donald Whitaker.
Jack Whitaker from Whatton, Nottinghamshire, with either the 15-year-old grey stallion Equine America Valmy De La Lande, owned by Michael Whitaker, or the 12-year-old bay mare Equine America Q Paravatti N, jointly owned by Michael Whitaker and Graham Gillespie.
The League of Nations competition takes place on Sunday, 11 February at 13:00 hrs local time (09:00 GMT). The Chef de Equipe for the team will be Di Lampard.
