ParalympicsGB and the British Dressage para selectors can confirm the three athlete and horse combinations who will compete in the team competition, taking place on 6 September at Chateau de Versailles.
Making their fourth consecutive appearance for ParalympicsGB, Natasha Baker and Sophie Wells will spearhead the hunt for team honours. They’ll be joined by Georgia Wilson who makes a first Paralympic Games team appearance, having made her debut at Tokyo 2020 as an individual.
Athlete and horse details, listed in order of grade:
Grade 2: Georgia Wilson (28) from Abergele, North Wales, with Geoff and Julie Wilson and her own Sakura (chestnut, mare, 10yrs, 16hh, Supertramp x Rockstar, Breeder: G. Eilberg GBR)
Grade 3: Natasha Baker (34) from Uxbridge, Middlesex, with Joanna Jensen, Christian Landolt, Phil and Lorraine Baker and her own Dawn Chorus (bay, mare, 16.1hh, 13yrs, Dimaggio x Escudo 19, Breeder: S. Lavendera GBR)
Grade 5: Sophie Wells (34) from Harby, Lincolnshire, with The Lady Joseph Trust’s LJT Egebjerggards Samoa (black, mare, 8yrs, 16.1hh, St Schufo x Gribaldi, Breeder: Anders Green Hansen DEN)
The team competition gets underway at 08:30 BST tomorrow, starting with the Grade 4 section. The medal ceremony will take place at 16:47 CET.
