British Eventing and Showjumping teams confirmed for next leg of FEI Nations Cup

British Eventing and British Showjumping have announced their selected teams, following an invitation the compete in the FEI Nations Cup legs in Arville and Ireland.

Eventing

British Eventing has confirmed their CCI4* Nations Cup team to represent Great Britain in Arvill (BEL), 17-20 August.

The team is as follows:

  • Xanthe Goldsack from Altrincham, Manchester with her own 14-year-old gelding Hi Tech.
  • Fiona Kashel from Cranleigh, Surrey with 15-year-old gelding Creevagh Silver De Haar, owned by Fiona Breach.
  • Rose Nesbitt from Ludlow, Shropshire with 12-year-old gelding EG Michealangelo, owned by Frances Nesbitt.
  • Will Rawlin from Hungerford, Berkshire with his own and Andrew and Miranda Rawlin’s 11-year-old Ballycoog Breaker Boy.

The team will be accompanied by Chef d’Equipe Philip Surl.

Showjumping

British Showjumping has confirmed the following team selected to represent Great Britain in Dublin (IRE). The competition takes place between the 9–13 August at Dublin Horse Show.

  • Harry Charles from Hampshire, with the 14-year-old bay gelding Romeo 88, owned by Ann Thompson.
  • Sienna Charles from Hampshire, with the 13-year-old bay mare Stardust, jointly owned by Heathcroft Farm and Stall Zet.
  • Tim Gredley from Suffolk, with the 11-year-old bay gelding Medoc De Toxandria, owned by Unex Competition Yard Ltd.
  • Sam Hutton based in Belgium, with the 12-year-old chestnut stallion Oak Grove’s Laith, owned by Caramello Company.
  • Robert Whitaker from Surrey, with the 10-year-old black stallion Vermento, owned by Caroline Blatchford.

The Chef d’Équipe for the team will be Di Lampard.

The Nations Cup competition takes place on Friday, 11 August at 15:00 BST, while the Grand Prix will be on Sunday, 13 August at 15:00 BST.
