British teams announced for Millstreet and St Gallen

FEI Eventing Nations Cup – Millstreet, Ireland

The Millstreet leg of the 2024 FEI Eventing Nations Cup series takes place on 30 May to 2 June. The following team has been selected by British Eventing to represent Great Britain.

  • Daniel Alderson from Piltown, County Kilkenny, with nine-year-old mare Blarney Monbeg Pepper, owned by Lady Caroline Colthrust
  • Kate Bleloch from Southam, Warwickshire, with 14-year-old mare Quimera CP 43 08, owned by Bella Lloyd Webber
  • Kirsty Chabert from Salisbury, Wiltshire, with 12-year-old mare Opposition Heraldik Girl, owned by Caroline Caines, John Johnston and Kate Monserrate
  • Stephen Heal from Chippenham, Wiltshire, with 10-year-old gelding Quidam De Lux, owned by rider and The Super Mario Syndicate

The teams will be accompanied by Chef d’Equipe Philip Surl. The first horse inspection will take place at 17:30 BST on Wednesday 29 May, followed by start of the dressage phase at 12:00 on Thursday 30 May.

FEI Longines League of Nations – St Gallen, Switzerland

Having qualified to compete in the CSIO5* Longines League of Nations in St Gallen, the following team have been selected by British Showjumping to represent Great Britain. The competition takes place between 30 May and 2 June at the Equestrian Stadium Gruendenmoos, Switzerland.

  • Harry Charles from Alton, Hampshire, with either the 15-year-old bay gelding Romeo 88, or the 13-year-old bay mare Aralyn Blue, both owned by Ann Thompson.
  • Tim Gredley from Newmarket, Suffolk, with either the 11-year-old black gelding Imperial HBF, or the 12-year-old bay gelding Medoc De Toxandria, both owned by Unex Competition Yard Ltd.
  • Ben Maher from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, with either the 10-year-old bay stallion Point Break, or the 11-year-old bay mare Dallas Vegas Batilly, both jointly owned by Charlotte Rossetter and Pamela Wright.
  • Robert Whitaker from Horley, Surrey, with the 11-year-old black stallion Vermento, jointly owned by Caroline and Stephen Blatchford.

The Longines League of Nations competition takes place on Friday, 31st May at 16:00 local time (15:00 BST). The Chef d’Equipe for the team will be Di Lampard.
