After a two-year hiatus, it's almost time for Badminton Horse Trials to make its much-anticipated return. Competition gets underway with the first horse inspection on Wedneday 4 May, and will culminate with the champion being crowned on Sunday 8 May. If you want to catch a slice of the action, we've rounded up your options...
A highlights programme, followed by live action of the top-10 showjumping rounds, will be shown on Sunday 8 May at 14:15–16:30 on BBC2. The programme will be presented by Rishi Persad, with a panel of expert commentators including three-time Badminton winner Ian Stark.
There will be no Red Button coverage this year.
Live action from all four days of competition – excluding the top-10 showjumping rounds for British viewers, who will need to swap to BBC2 – will be available to stream on Badminton TV. The streaming service costs £19.99 for 365 days of access, and includes over 75 hours of archive and preview content in addition to the livestream and on-demand coverage of this year's competition.
This year, tickets can only be purchased in advance through the box office – there will be no sales on the gate. There are daily ticket options, including access to Wednesday's horse inspection, or you can purchase a five-day season pass.
