More than 93,000 people voted in these awards last year and we plan to build on that again with the ninth running of the H&H Awards. The glittering ceremony will take place at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire on Wednesday 27 November. Some 300 people, including Paris Olympic and Paralympic superstars, will enjoy a glamorous evening of champagne, winner reveals, speeches and dancing.
As previously, the H&H Awards winners will be nominated and voted for by our readers. We seek to recognise both the big names who have made this year special and the unsung heroes who make it possible for all of us to enjoy equestrian sport and our horses, at whatever level.
Last year’s winners included Ros Canter (Professional Rider of the Year) and Lottie Fry’s ride Glamourdale (Dressage Horse of the Year), who were both recently medallists at the Olympics.
H&H Editor-in-Chief Sarah Jenkins said: “The Horse & Hound team is delighted to bring back the Horse & Hound Awards in this Olympic and Paralympic year, in partnership with NAF and Agria. “If there is a horse or a human who has had an impact on your enjoyment of horses and horse sport this year please take a moment to nominate them for these awards. We can only shortlist those who are nominated and we know how much public support means to those who have made the cut in previous years.
“We cannot wait to read all of your nominations and to celebrate the very best of equestrianism in 2024 through our magazine pages, on our website and social channels, and on our awards night in November when the winners are revealed.”

The short-lists for voting will be unveiled in our 17 October issue, with voting closing on 24 October. The awards report will run in 5 December issue.
