Jodie grew up around horses, starting out at the riding school in the suburbs of London owned by her great-grandparents. She was immediately hooked and was determined to be a professional rider from a young age. 

Partnered with the talented Tixylix, Jodie had a prolific pony career, which included winning team gold and individual silver at the FEI Jumping Pony European Championship in 2015. She achieved the feat of winning all three majors in the national pony calendar – Horse of the Year Show, London International Horse Show and Liverpool International Horse Show. 

In 2019, Jodie had her senior team debut at the CSI3* Nations Cup in Lisbon, Portugal. In the same year, she was also crowned U25 National Champion. 

Jodie joined the Global Champions League in 2021 and also took home team bronze in the FEI Jumping Young Rider European Championship. This was in addition to top placings at a number of international classes, including third place at the CSI5* Grand Prix of Paris. 

The following year, Jodie made her team debut on the FEI Jumping Nations Cup series in Falsterbo, Sweden and was a regular feature of the team, including at the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. She finished the 2022 season as the Leading Rider at the London International Horse Show and runner-up in the London leg of the FEI Jumping World Cup series. 

Over the past few years, Jodie has continued to be a familiar face on the jumping world stage. Her family owns Hyde Park Stables in London
