Bubby (who was christened Isabelle) has ridden all her life and was an active member of the Newmarket and Thurlow Pony Club during her childhood.
She was a highly successful youth athlete, including winning team and individual silver at the FEI Eventing Pony European Championship in 2014, team bronze at the FEI Eventing Junior European Championship in 2016, individual gold and team silver at the FEI Eventing Junior European Championship in 2017, and individual silver and team gold at the FEI Eventing Young Rider European Championship in 2019.
Bubby has twice been crowned U25 National Champion – first at Biction in 2021, then at Bramham in 2023.

In 2023, Bubby suffered a serious riding accident while schooling a young horse at home that resulted in her fracturing her spine. After a period of intensive rehabilitation, she returned to riding the following spring and achieved a 10th place finish at Badminton Horse Trials.
Bubby holds a degree in sports management in Edinburgh University, which she completed alongside her eventing career by commuting back and forth between the university and her base in Newmarket.
