Georgina, otherwise known as Piggy, is one of Britain’s leading event riders. Piggy was part of the British squad for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and was an individual silver medallist at the 2009 European Championships.
Piggy took a break from the sport in 2016, becoming a mother for the first time, but returned to competition in 2017 with Quarrycrest Echo – they were selected to compete as individuals at the European Championships in Strzegom that year.
In 2018, Piggy was part of the gold medal-winning team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, again riding Quarrycrest Echo. The following spring, they travelled to Kentucky to compete in the CCI5*, finishing fourth.
On her 25th attempt at CCI5* level, Piggy secured the Badminton title in 2019 with Vanir Kamira. This was followed by the runner-up spot at Burghley later that season, also with Vanir Kamira.
Piggy runs an event yard and stud in Northamptonshire with her husband, Tom March.
